4 Critical Areas To Create Time In..Before Time is Gone

7 years ago, this little girl didn’t exist in our world. She wasn’t formed, wasn’t thought of of, wasn’t known. Now she has adult teeth, can sing the song “brave”, dances, swims, and reads. In just 6 years and 3 months she accomplished all of this!!! Even though she wasn’t even a thought 7 years ago. (If the math seems off, I’m trying to include pregnancy here... she was somewhat formed then 😂) It went by so fast. I ask myself constantly...Where did the time go?

Time is precious. It’s golden. It’s invaluable. It’s limited. And it flies- how many times have you thought, “there just aren’t enough hours in the day?” “I don’t have enough time to read that extra bed time story” “I wish there was more time to see the ones I love” ?? Both of my hands are up 🤚🤚

Amber and I were fortunate enough to attend a conference where a speaker so accurately said, “time doesn’t exist, we CREATE it.” This completely shifted my perspective on how I view time. It got me thinking...Where am I creating time? Where does my time go? Are the places I create my time valuable and meaningful? Am I creating it in the right places, for the right people? My personal answer? Not always. Much of my time is wasted doing meaningless things that I could have directed somewhere more valuable. But that’s okay!! We are a work in progress.

How you create time is personal and completely unique. Here are some greats places to create it:

🧘🏼‍♀️ self care (take care of your mind, body and spirit. You cannot be the person you intend to be when running on empty)

❤️ loved ones (friendships, children, and relationships are vital to feeling whole as a human. Invest in these. They will be your saving grace. But remember, you can’t invest fully into someone else if you haven’t invested in yourself first. Refer to point one again and again)

🌿 nature. Fresh air and the sun have a way of revamping our energy and cleaning our spirit. The outdoors can literally heal us and prevent disease.

😂 laughter. Things that make you laugh or grin from ear to ear.

Any other ideas? Drop them in the comments. ❤️
